Letting Go Of The Girl - Transitioning to Midlife coaches are in the process of creating the third eBook in our twelve eBook series. The name of this new eBook is "Letting Go Of The Girl"

This topic came about during a brainstorming vacation/retreat on Cape Cod where one of our coaches (who will remain nameless) came to breakfast wearing cut off jeans and a plunging top that exposed most of her upper anatomy. Another coach,(who will remain nameless), commented that her 16 year old daughter had the same shorts and that she could never wear them because "it would be inappropriate". Now... the very beautiful and sexy woman wearing the outfit is 9 years older than the other very beautiful and sexy woman who made the comment. When asked why she thought the outfit was inappropriate the younger 36 year old women responded with "There comes a time when you have to begin letting go of the girl" We asked her to elaborate and she stated that "mentally she might still feel 20 but  she did not want to be that pathetic older women who walks around looking "ridiculous".

Well, needless to say, that discussion among our very versatile and eclectic group lasted for a couple hours and continued throughout the trip. This discussion evoked so many emotions, thoughts and opinions that we had to write about it. We are asking you all to join in on this discussion, especially women over 40 like me, and share your thoughts about "Letting Go Of The Girl"

At the end of the eBook, we will list some of your comments. The individuals whose comments are selected, will receive a free copy of the eBook, so make sure you add your email address. We are planning to publish this eBook in the Spring of 2013 so start submitting your comments and hold on, I have a feeling that... "This is going to be a bumpy ride."

I have difficulty with this.  My 23 year old is always reminding me of my age.  I still feel 25.
